Jiah Khan : End of glam life in deglam way

Nishabd!

Totally speechless when I heard the news of actress Jiah Khan committed suicide in morning of Tuesday, 4th June, 2013.

A beautiful, glamrous girl's life ended in deglam way! How? Why?

Nafisa Khan popularly known as Jiah Khan was lucky girl who got oppertunity to work in very first film against Amitabh Bachchan.  She was merely sixteen or eighteen year old then. Fate could not have been more generous to Jiah. As a young girl who lived most of her life in London, Jiah always dreamt of making it to Bollywood. In year 2005, she almost came to the point of realizing her dream when she was considered for a film by director Anurag Basu. However, Jiah could not get the project.

But Jiah did not lose hope. Because her mother used to be a small-time actress, Jiah used her contacts to get introduced to Ram Gopal Varma . Initially, Ramu had nothing to offer to Jiah. But when he discussed with Amitabh Bachchan the idea of making a film about a love story between an aged man and a young girl, he knew Jiah was the right choice for the role.

So, Jiah's Bollywood dream has come true in a big way with a plum role opposite the Big B in Ramu's film Nishabd . The movie is loosely based on Vladimir Nabokov's novel Lolita.

The film has Jiah playing a girl of her own age. She falls in love with a much older man (Amitabh Bachchan). Amitabh reciprocates her feelings, but he is also torn between his rationality and emotions.

After Amitabh, Jiah got film against one more Aries sign actor and super star- Amir Khan! She starred against him as second lead in film Gajini. Film was super hit but Jiah did not get credit as Asin's role was better and more appreciated. Then she acted in guest apperance in film Housefull. She was Randhir Kapoor's daughter. There was funny and hot song with Akshay Kumar 'I don't know what to do'.

Perhaps this song was playing her life too. She was feeling very lonelyness. Her name was linked with Aditya Panscholi's son and producer Butny Walia's brother Jaspreet Walia.

Jiah had a fortnight back tweeted, "So sorry I have been off twitter! Took a bit of a break from twitter verse.. sometimes u need a sabbatical to recollect ur thoughts. Perhaps she hinted about next big step in her life. If some one had got this hint, she could be saved. But ...

Jiah followed path of some actor and actresses who could not resist with pressure, failure, betrayal in Hindi film industry. The first case of such act comes in mind is of Guru Dutt. Then Divya Bharti also jumped to death. But her death is still mysterious as it is believed that Divya had come to know such facts that her life had become danger to others.

Then model and MTv VJ Nafisa Joseph also committed suicide. She was to marry businessman Gautam Khanduja in a few weeks' time. According to her parents, Joseph took the step because her marriage was called off. This was due to Joseph having discovered that Khanduja was still married, although having told her he had been divorced for two years. When confronted, Khanduja refused to answer questions about his marital life or produce divorce papers that he had previously claimed he had filed. Instead, press reports at the time mention that he then threatened her with blackmail, probably after she threatened to confront his wife.

Model and actress Kuljeet Randhawa (many mix her name with Kuljeet Randhawa, who acted in film Yamla Pagla Deewana) also followed path of these actors. She acted in serials like Hip Hip Hurray, C.A.T.S and Special Squad.

In year 2010, shocking news came about hot model and actress Viveka Babajee. Viveka came in lime light for Kamasutra condom ad. She was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her apartment on 25 June 2010 at her Bandra residence in Mumbai. Police reports says that Viveka committed suicide due to depression. The last page of her diary, which was found next to her dead body, had a message written, "You killed me, Gautam Vohra." Unconfirmed reports stated that she became depressed after separating from her boy friend Gautam Vohra. At that time Gautam Vohra escaped successfully from this case but his bad "karma" got him arrested in another case. He was arrested for helping Vijay Palande, the key accused in the gruesome double murders of Delhi-based businessman Arun Kumar Tikku and consultant Karan Kakkar.

So, folks, this is bollywood. You come here lonely and even goes lonely. It is differenet matter if you are star son or star daughter. It is different matter if you are coming from celebrity family. But if you are coming from unknown family or family having loose connection, then you have to be strong. Bollywood is very demanding. Demanding for time, money, relations, publicity, anti publicity, failure, success...in every way. Strong people survive. Weak people either give away this career or otherwise choose to end life. First option is far better.
